Trevor Simmons is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. He completed his bachelor’s degree with a major in psychology at Bowling Green State University and his master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Walden University.
His work experience has ranged from residential treatment to intensive inpatient mental health, general outpatient therapy, and counseling and case management duties. Trevor’s interests include working with individuals of all ages to address life’s difficulties that include symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, AD/HD, anger management, Autism, impulse control disorders, PTSD, and stress management. He enjoys a fluid theoretical approach that draws from many “tools in his tool belt” and includes aspects of person-centered therapy, CBT, and family systems.
Outside of his professional life, Trevor often spends time outside or engaging in his hobby of woodcraft/woodworking. He enjoys nature, time spent with family and friends, music, attending concerts, watching movies, and bowling.
