Pronouns: They | Them
Kade (they/them) is a licensed independent social worker who began practicing in 2017 after graduating from The Ohio State University. Kade has worked in the nonprofit world as well as with schools and outpatient programs. They are passionate about working with adolescents, adults, survivors of trauma, and those who identify as LGBTQ+. Their experience is primarily in working with those with mood disorders (anxiety, depression), trauma (including religious trauma), life transitions, grief, and gender/sexuality concerns.
Kade operates first and foremost from a person-centered perspective. Therapy should never be a one-size-fits-all approach, so Kade works closely with their clients to decide on the best approaches. Some approaches that Kade may pull from include Expressive Arts Therapy, Ecotherapy, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and strengths-based therapy.
In Kade’s free time, you might find them wandering in the woods or learning a new art style!
