Dana L. Jackson is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with a distinguished career spanning over 18 years. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Social Work from The Ohio State University. Dana has extensive experience in individual and group counseling, case management, and supervision across diverse settings including child welfare, juvenile corrections, residential treatment for adults and adolescents, outpatient treatment, high schools, and private practice.
Dana is dedicated to facilitating positive change and guiding individuals to achieve their fullest potential. She specializes in working with adolescents, trauma survivors, restored citizens, and couples seeking to strengthen their relationships. Dana employs a blend of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused modalities to empower her clients.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Dana cherishes spending time with her husband and four children. She has a passion for music, literature, indulging in television shows, and savoring delicious cuisine.
