Debbie received her MSW from The Ohio State University and is a Licensed Independent Social Worker. She specializes in mental health and substance misuse, working with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions and relationship concerns. Debbie primarily works with adults and couples. She believes that all therapeutic interventions are reflective of a collaboration between the therapist and the client and that treatment should be designed in accordance with the client’s identified needs. It is her intent that a client will develop skills to support their overall wellness.
Debbie provides an eclectic approach to counseling. Her practice includes the use of interventions from
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Interpersonal
Psychotherapy, Prolonged Grief Therapy and Internal Family Systems. She approaches counseling in a holistic manner and believes that addressing physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs is essential to the client’s well-being.
In her free time, Debbie loves to spend time with her family, pets, walking with friends and reading.
