Bethany believes each person already holds the answers to their own problems, yet can always benefit from learning new ways of interacting with their world, themselves, and others around them. A variety of factors can block clients from accessing the solutions to their problems. To help clients unlock their own answers, Bethany utilizes therapeutic interventions from Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These therapies can increase clients’ sense of worth, mastery, and confidence to make desired changes in their lives. To further help clients make desired changes, Bethany teaches skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) to improve emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and relational wellness.

Bethany is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who received her Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work from The Ohio State University and her Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary.
