Grant L. Schroeder has been a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor since 1997 and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor since 1987. He is adept at facilitating strong therapeutic alliances with his patients and uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices to assist patients in resolving their difficulties.
He has provided services for youth and adults in outpatient and inpatient settings. He is highly experienced in working with substance abuse issues, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, workplace conflict and stressors, and developmental issues across the lifespan.
He served for many years as the clinical director for a large substance abuse and mental health agency in Columbus where he developed integrated mental health and substance abuse services, evidence and science-based services treatment services, and provided supervision and training for undergraduate and graduate students.
