Kate is a compassionate and dedicated therapist with a special interest in women’s health and supporting
women through life’s challenges. She enjoys working with women from diverse backgrounds navigating
health and well-being issues including pregnancy and postpartum challenges, relationship difficulties,
managing the mental load of motherhood, chronic pain, and stress management and coping skills. Kate
uses a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing the interconnectedness of physical, emotional, and social
factors in women’s lives. Her practice is informed by evidence-based techniques, including cognitive
behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based interventions, tailored to meet the needs of each
client. Kate believes in the power of empathy, validation, and empowerment in the therapeutic process.
She creates a safe and nonjudgmental space where women can explore their experiences, discover their
strengths, and cultivate resilience. By fostering collaboration and trust, she assists her clients in finding
their inner resources to overcome challenges and lead fulfilling lives.
Kate earned her undergraduate degree from Miami University and her Master of Social Work from Ohio
State. She has completed additional trainings in motivational interviewing and trauma-focused cognitive
behavioral therapy.
