Debbie is a licensed independent social worker and chemical dependency counselor who has worked in
the fields of mental health and substance misuse for over 25 years. She works with adults and couples
and believes that all therapeutic interventions are reflective of a collaboration between the therapist
and the client. Her focus is client-centered and she believes that treatment should be designed in
accordance with the client’s identified needs. It is her intent that the client will develop skills necessary
to address life’s ups and downs and ensure healthy interpersonal relationships.


Debbie provides an eclectic approach to counseling with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress,
grief, difficulty with interpersonal relationships and parenting concerns. Her practice includes the use of
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy and Interpersonal
Psychotherapy. She approaches counseling in a holistic manner and believes that addressing physical,
emotional, spiritual and social needs is essential to the client’s well-being.


In her free time, Debbie loves to spend time with her family, pets, walking with friends and reading.
